Raven Used Book Store

The historic village of Shelburne Falls provides a magnificent natural setting and vibrant community for Raven Used Books.  Situated within parts of the towns of Buckland and Shelburne in Franklin County, the village is known for the famous Iron Bridge spanning the Deerfield river, along with the popular Bridge of Flowers.

Locals and tourists enjoy the numerous independently owned shops, art galleries, and restaurants, and the quintessential quaint New England atmosphere has led to the village being used as the set for many movies and TV series including the Holdovers, Labor Day, The Judge, and the most recent season of Dexter.

Raven Used Books at Potholes Shelburne Falls

The stunning Salmon Falls and glacial potholes provide a gorgeous backdrop for the Mill at Shelburne Falls, where the Raven is located.  Using the restored buildings of a mid-19th century cutlery originally built by Lamson & Goodnow, the Mill is a riverfront complex hosting numerous public and private creative businesses and studios.

An easy 10 minute drive west along scenic Route 2 from I-91 exit 43 (Greenfield/N Adams), take your time checking out the shops along Bridge Street, then after crossing the historic Iron Bridge, make a left and enjoy the riverside views until you see the entrance to the Mill complex on your left.  Once facing the long Mill building you can find the Raven situated at the left most section, with plenty of free parking and handicap accessibility.  After you finish your shopping, you can also enjoy walking trails behind the Mill, while enjoying the views of the river, dam, and waterfall.
